Sauna Monthly verdict

4.5/ 5

The same excellent build, sized for a crowd.

Nootka's 10ft stretches the clear-cedar barrel to six on facing benches without changing what makes the line good — the wood, the smart 9 kW heater, the delivered-and-built option. Only worth the size step if you genuinely host that many; two or four bathers are better served (and heated faster) by the 8ft. For big households and cold-plunge groups, it's the honest pick.

What to know before you buy

Western Red Cedar, electric, wood-fired, 240V hardwired. The details that decide whether it fits your space, your electrical, and how you like to sweat.

Western Red Cedar
Naturally rot- and insect-resistant, aromatic, and low in thermal conductivity, so benches stay comfortable at 90°C. The premium sauna wood.
Wood-Fired
Heated by a log stove: fully off-grid, a crackling ritual, and the softest löyly. Plan for a chimney and ~45–60 min heat-up.
Electric
Thermostat-controlled heat at the flip of a switch — no chimney, consistent temperature, and app/timer control on many models.
