Sun Home Saunas Full-Spectrum Cabin
Sun Home Eclipse 4-Person Red Light & Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna
The Eclipse 4-Person is Sun Home's red light cabin at 94 inches wide. It carries twelve far-infrared heaters, four full-spectrum heaters in the back wall and two red light therapy panels, and Sun Home rates it to 165°F. It draws 5.3 kW at 240V through a twist-lock plug, so an electrician installs a dedicated 30A circuit. The floor has to carry about 1,750 lb across the footprint.

Outside
The door in the middle hangs on glass hinges and shuts on a magnetic gasket. Sun Home says it closes securely without resistance.
Sun Home builds the cabin with a double wall, and the pale hemlock shows inside. The Eclipse 4 measures 94.4 by 55.1 inches, stands 76.7 inches tall and weighs 925 pounds.
The control panel has its own key for the outside lights.
Its 9-foot cord leaves the roof toward the back and ends in a NEMA L6-30 twist-lock plug. It draws 5,300 watts, and a licensed electrician installs the circuit.
Inside
Each one sits between the two boards of a contoured backrest. Sun Home says their output runs from near infrared to far.
Its two knobs set the strength of the full-spectrum heaters behind the backrests. Sun Home's app can switch the far-infrared and full-spectrum heaters on their own as well.
They shine at 650 and 850 nm and have their own controls on the side. Sun Home's manual suggests 20 minutes at 6 to 24 inches, at least three times a week.
Sun Home's spec sheet counts twelve far-infrared heaters in the Eclipse 4. There are four on each side wall, two beneath the benches and two in the floor.
Sun Home says taking them out opens the floor for stretching or yoga. Inside, the Eclipse 4 measures 85.7 by 50 inches.
It sets the temperature up to 165°F and the session timer. Keys on it switch the colored ceiling light and the lights under the bench, and music plays over Bluetooth.
The RGB key on the panel or Sun Home's app picks the color, and the white setting cycles through all of them.
We built this model from Sun Home's 3D tour and spec sheet, so small details can differ from the sauna that arrives.

What to know before you buy
Canadian hemlock, full-spectrum, 240V plug-in. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- HemlockHemlock is the workhorse wood of infrared cabins. Its boards are smooth with light knots, and the wood is hypoallergenic.
- Full-SpectrumA full-spectrum cabin gives you the widest wavelength coverage you can buy, since it adds near and mid infrared to far infrared in one room.
- 240V Plug-InA 240V plug-in model needs its own 240V circuit and a matching outlet, and an electrician installs both. Build roughly $600–$2,500 into your total budget for it.
