What to know before you buy
Spruce, electric, steam, 240V hardwired. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- Nordic SpruceNordic spruce is the traditional Finnish sauna softwood. It's tight-grained and light, and the price is fair.
- SteamA steam room runs wet heat at lower temperatures, the way a classic hammam does.
- ElectricAn electric heater holds a steady temperature on its thermostat and needs no chimney. Many models add app or timer control.
