How much space does the Almost Heaven Auburn need?

The Almost Heaven Auburn measures 70 by 47 inches outside and stands 78 inches high, by Select Saunas' figures. Almost Heaven asks for at least 2 inches between the sauna and any wall, which puts the floor space at roughly 74 by 51 inches. It also recommends 12 inches of clearance above the roof while you build it, so a ceiling of about 90 inches makes assembly easy. Almost Heaven says it can be done with less, and its team will talk through a tight room by phone.

Is the Almost Heaven Auburn hardwired?

Yes. The Almost Heaven Auburn's 6 kW Harvia heater hardwires to a dedicated 240V, 30-amp circuit, and an electrician has to install it. The interior LED light plugs into an ordinary 110V, 15-amp outlet. You'll pay separately for the electrician and for any flooring, since the Auburn stands on your existing floor and Almost Heaven sells a cedar floor kit as an extra. Almost Heaven's limited lifetime warranty covers the room against manufacturing defects for the original owner in the contiguous US, and Harvia covers the heater for five years and its elements for one.

How is the Almost Heaven Auburn delivered and assembled?

The Almost Heaven Auburn arrives by LTL truck on a single pallet that Select Saunas lists at 700 pounds, and the carrier leaves it at the curb. You'll move it indoors yourself, or pay the carrier for door-to-door service when they call to book delivery. Select Saunas says two people generally assemble it in six hours or less with a cordless drill. Almost Heaven quotes six to eight weeks before it ships.

How hot does the Almost Heaven Auburn get?

Almost Heaven rates the Auburn's 6 kW Harvia KIP to 194°F (90°C). Select Saunas says the room reaches 180°F in less than an hour and that you can delay the start by up to eight hours, so the room is hot when you get home. Most buyers should pick the Almost Heaven Auburn, because it costs $1,440 less than the Aurora and Select Saunas has it in stock. Costco sells the Aurora alone for $5,699.99, with a Wi-Fi Harvia 6 kW heater and an outside of 57.75 inches wide by 63.75 deep, and it showed the Aurora out of stock on Oct 5, 2026.
