What to know before you buy
Rustic red cedar or hemfir, electric, 240V hardwired. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- CedarCedar resists rot and insects naturally, and it's aromatic. It conducts heat poorly, so the benches stay cool enough to sit on in a hot room.
- ElectricAn electric heater holds a steady temperature on its thermostat and needs no chimney. Many models add app or timer control.
- 240V HardwiredA hardwired model needs a dedicated 240V circuit installed by an electrician. Build roughly $600–$2,500 into your total budget for it.
