“Weeks of heat adaptation show up well on this band, which needs a subscription and care in the heat.”
WHOOP is good at showing the weeks-long adaptation sauna users care about, as resting heart rate falls and recovery shifts. WHOOP says to avoid temperatures above 140°F (60°C), which rules out wearing it in a traditional sauna. You pay for it by subscription, and its optical heart rate is unreliable in the heat, which we'd accept for the long-run trend. Dry the band the moment you step out.
