Harvia Cilindro PC80E 8kW Electric Sauna Heater

Electric240V Hardwired

Iconic 8kW pillar-style heater with an open grate shell holding around 200 lbs of stones for soft, steam-rich heat in rooms up to roughly 425 cubic feet. E-model runs on an external control panel for precise scheduling.

Good to know: External controller (e.g. Harvia Xenio) required; 240V/1PH supply

Sauna Monthly verdict

4.7/ 5

The best steam a domestic electric heater reasonably gives.

The cylindrical tower wraps stones around the elements on every side, so far more stone reaches löyly temperature — which is why its steam lands softer and lasts longer than a boxy wall heater's quick hiss. Remember it needs a separate control unit and a hardwired 240V circuit, and a guard rail around the hot column is wise. For a mid-size room, it's the heater that turns a hot box into a good sauna.
