What to know before you buy
These decide how it heats you and where it can go.
- Full-SpectrumA full-spectrum cabin gives you the widest wavelength coverage you can buy, since it adds near and mid infrared to far infrared in one room.
- Near-InfraredNear-infrared is incandescent light-heat at shorter wavelengths that penetrate tissue. It doubles as red-light therapy.
- 120V Plug-InA plug-in model runs on a standard household outlet, so you won't need an electrician. Check whether it needs its own dedicated circuit.
